Extended Validation SSL-EV or SSL-VE Security Certificate

Rather than conform to the security standard SSL (Security Socket Layer) certificate, we decided to implement the SSL-EV SSL certificate-VE or extended validation.

What these certificates provide us?

1

Encrypted communication

Encrypted communication between your computer and the website preventing the information sent or received from being extracted if someone were to intercept it. This is known as the SSL security layer.

2

Unambiguous identification

Unambiguous identification of the owner of the website by a valid and internationally recognised certification body. In our case, the entity chosen is Thawte (www.thawte.com). The extended validation process of these certificates offers the assurance that the owner of the website is who he/she claims to be without any doubt. This process offers the necessary guarantees to our clients.

How to identify them?

Our aim is to offer this level of security to our customers in a clear and unambiguous way and these certificates achieve this by showing the navigation bar in green when you enter our website www.penalara.com.

Let's see how some browsers reflect this:

In Mozilla Firefox:

Seguridad Firefox Peñalara GHC

Clicking the Certificate we can see its properties:

Certificado de seguridad firefox Peñalara GHC

In Chrome:

Seguridad Chrome Peñalara GHC

Clicking the Certificate we can see its properties:

Certificado de seguridad Chrome Peñalara GHC

In Internet Explorer:

Seguridad IE Peñalara GHC

The green colour indicates that it is an Extended Validation SSL certificate.

If we click on the certificate:

Certificado de seguridad IE Peñalara GHC

In Safari:

Seguridad Safari Peñalara GHC

The green colour indicates that it is an Extended Validation SSL certificate.

If we click on the certificate:
